Florists.com is a web-based floral vendor. The firm provides elegant arrangements for all occasions reflecting the exact needs of their thousands of clients worldwide. Florists also provides many Web 2.0 applications reminding its customers of upcoming anniversaries, birthdays and other events. The firm has established many partnerships and their robust vendor network spans the entire globe.
Computan worked with Florists.com on an integrated online strategy and ebusiness framework. This involved setting up a database management system whereby the firm can manage their own inventories, catalogues and product descriptions for all of their items. This also included the site design with a layout aimed to communicate key specials and arrangements immediately to customers. Computan employed Web 2.0 value services for florists.com customers through it’s reminder system that is integrated with the site’s Computan-developed electronic communications system.
