e-HotelRates.com is a company founded following the Professional Convention Management Association, (PCMA) meeting in Anaheim, California, to specifically address the issues and problems facing hotel housing in the hospitality industry. e-Hotelrates.com specifically addresses the need for the bookings and reservations of conference attendees to be streamlined using the web and destination management principles.
Computan developed a system that reduces attrition issues and places the control of room inventory back into the hands of the hotels. This not only allows better control of room inventories and more controlled pricing with better yields, but also tracks attendees that choose to book outside of the room block.
