CraveFest is an international music, talent and awards festival and web site. Artists from all over the world upload their original videos to a web-based system and top vote-getters performed their video live at a major venue in Toronto, Canada. The festival received international attention and recorded a huge amount of traffic and media coverage.
Computan worked with CRV Festival Management to develop this major system using state of the art Web 2.0 business strategies and development practices. Additionally, CRV relied on Computan’s development team to create the system, develop the framework scalable to handle massive amounts of bandwidth and user traffic as well as detailed statistics on votes received for an unlimited amount of videos. Computan’s data center team ensured the reliability and maintenance of the venture was deployed on schedule and per client specifications.
