Globeres continues expansion in Asian Pacific
Computan implements its Globeres reservation system for another Holiday Villa-managed resort. Holiday Villa is an international brand name and currently manages and operates 16 hotels and resorts in Malaysia, London, Bali, Sydney, Muscat, Khartoum, Phnom Penh, and the soon-to-open, Changshu and Chengzhou in the People's Republic of China (PRC). It has a total inventory of 2869 rooms and suites that range from modern deluxe to luxurious hotels, chalets and apartment suites.

Tennis Canada signs the agreement for Baseline. Tennis Canada, the governing body of tennis in Canada, has signed a letter of agreement to use Computan’s Baseline application to manage the operations of all of the provinces in Canada. .

Computan has reached an agreement with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), the governing body of NCAA college tennis in the U.S., to use eDraws for the All-American Championships. The ITA will use eDraws to publish and post results on their web site so fans worldwide can keep up with this event.

Tennis BC signs the contract. The executive director of Tennis BC, Mr., Ryan Clark, signed the agreement to use Baseline, a Computan developed web application, for the entire events and ranking management of TBC.

North Mississauga and Erin Mills Soccer Clubs come on board with the Computan CMS system. With these clubs, the largest soccer clubs in Canada are now using the CMS to manage their entire business on the web.

Healthy Living Niagara goes live with a highly interactive web application. Over 80 schools in Niagara District Board are to use Computan web based system for the registrations and rating of the Healthy Livening Niagara programs.

Squash Canada again uses eDraws. Squash Canada has chosen to use Computan’s eDraws application to manage the 2005 Black Knight Canadian Junior Open Squash Championships. The event, being hosted by longtime Computan partner White Oaks Conference Resort & Spa, will have roughly 300 competitors from all over North America competing in this first class amateur squash championships. Squash Canada has regularly used Computan’s eDraws applications for most of their major events in the past several years.

Tennis Canada signs letter of agreement for Baseline. Tennis Canada, the governing body of tennis in Canada, has signed a letter of agreement to use Computan’s Baseline application to manage the operations of all of the provinces in Canada. Tennis Canada will use Computan’s ranking system to provide Canadian tennis players with their first ever head-to-head national ranking starting in 2006. This system will be implemented throughout all of Canada for every single match played in the country. Baseline has been used in Canada for a number of years by tennis bodies in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. Computan welcomes all of the remaining provinces and the national federation on board.

The OTA has been a long time partner of Computan and is an active user of Computan’s Baseline application. One of the largest tennis associations in North America, the OTA is in charge of administering and managing all facets of the most premiere tennis events in the province of Ontario.

Globeres goes to Alaska Globeres signs up a new contract with Remax in Alaska. The web based Condo and property reservation system, developed by Computan, will now be implemented for the Remax in Alaska. This Condo and Vacation Property system has already been in use by Remax at the Islands of Kauai/Hawaii. The core Reservation System by Globere had also been used to bring large volumes of bookings for infoniagara, major Chicago Conventions, Disney Vacations in Florida, Hotels of Characters in Australia and many other hotels and chains around the world.
