WE CATS share our home with Karen & Roger Lawrence, and their three daughters Lesley(19), Shelley(15) and Chrissie(13) in the beautiful and historical Niagara Region of Southern Ontario, Canada. St. Catharines, to be exact - the Garden City!

St. Catharines is a wonderful small city, located on the shore of Lake Ontario. It is well known for it's many parks and gardens (and donut shops!) and is home to the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, which takes place each year on our world renowned Henley rowing course. The Welland Canal cuts through our city, taking cargo ships from Lake Ontario to Lake Erie via a system of locks.

The Niagara Peninsula is renowned for its vineyards and wineries, and is also well-known as a major tender fruit growing area. The surrounding countryside has lots of attractions such as the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake with it's Shaw Festival, the Niagara Parkway with its many spectacular floral areas courtesy of the Niagara Horticural College, etc. They have a brand new Butterfly Conservatory that we plan to visit soon.
